BOOK COACHING

Let’s Write Your Manuscript Together.

3 Months, 100 (good) pages, Unstoppable Momentum

So many writers have told me that once they hit 100 pages, they know beyond a doubt they will finish their book. For our first three months, we’ll focus on creating 100 strong pages and turn you into a pro writer while doing it.

I won’t simply cheer you toward building a word count just for word count’s sake. That will leave you with a chaotic mess. Instead, while generating momentum, we’ll work on your book’s overall vision, hone your craft, and develop your professionalism all along the way.

This doesn’t have to be your first 100 pages. If you’ve already written a significant chunk of your book and feel lost or have stalled out, don’t worry. That happens to the best of us. Let me get you to the finish line.

I’ll be supporting you one-on-one (no assistants, no groups) with thorough feedback on your pages, scheduled coaching calls, and email support between calls.

By the end of our first three months, you’ll have:

  • A tight and compelling premise that will keep you focused and attract publishers and readers.

  • At least 100 strong pages.

  • A sustainable path forward and the habits, discipline and momentum to ensure you follow through, even when life gets in the way.

  • Sharpened writing skills and awareness of your strengths and weaknesses as a writer so you can continually improve your craft.

  • A deep belief in the value and uniqueness of your book.

BOOK PROPOSAL COACHING

Let’s Finish Your Book Proposal Together.

If you’re writing memoir or non-fiction, you’ll be pitching literary agents with a 40-60 page book proposal, rather than a finished manuscript. Think of it as your book’s business plan. Along with an outline and one to three sample chapters, you’ll be selling them on your book’s potential impact — why the market needs your book, how it stands out from the competition, why you’re the best person to write it, and how you’ll support the book with marketing and publicity.

If you ultimately decide that self-publishing will offer you the best ROI, you’ll already have your marketing, publicity, and platform-building plans ready to go. A win-win investment, no matter how you decide to publish.

By the end of our work together, you’ll have:

  • A complete, saleable book proposal.

  • A personalized plan to quickly boost your platform.

  • An attention-grabbing query letter.

  • A strategy to confidently and effectively pitch agents.

  • A handpicked list of 5-10 agents for you to query.

“When I was stuck in the middle of a partially completed manuscript, Tiffany got me to ‘The End’.

Not only do I adore Tiffany personally - boy, has she helped keep me motivated - I feel lucky to have worked with a published author who really understands storytelling. My work is richer and more nuanced as a result.”

- Dr. Liz Alexander, Author of Lies That Blind

"Thanks to Tiffany, within weeks, I had seven agents reading my manuscript!

Before working with her, I’d queried agents and gotten no response despite having the opening chapter of my book published in a major journal."

– Robert Kerbeck, agented author of RUSE: Lying the American Dream from Hollywood to Wall Street

“Tiffany was hands down the best coach I have ever hired — and I’ve had a number of them.

She zeroed in on my goal for my memoir and helped me execute it perfectly. I am forever thankful for her patiently ushering me into this world of publishing!

Before working with Tiffany, I had almost given up hope of securing traditional publishing for my memoir. Tiffany was a godsend, holding my hand through the process of creating a polished proposal. Her encouragement and keen editorial eye gave me the confidence I needed to keep going. She directed me to the best agents for my project, and cheered me on when the proposal requests and offers came in. After two weeks of querying, I landed the perfect agent for me.”

— Dr. Zoe Shaw, Life Coach, Clinical Psychologist, and agented author.

“Tiffany was AMAZING!

She was able to understand where I was stuck in my book proposal and give me concrete small steps so I could move forward and complete this important yet giant task. She understands what needs to be done and explains each part clearly. I loved her follow up emails after each of our sessions, so I knew what I needed to do and did not get overwhelmed by the whole project. I’m so thrilled to be sending out my query letter and book proposal, especially now that two of the agents I queried quickly asked for the whole proposal. If you want to work with best, hurry to sign up with Tiffany before she has no spaces left!”

– Lisa Niver, award-winning journalist and agented author.

“Tiffany gave me a perspective and foundation I’ve never had.

As a not-so-young but new author, I suffer from the same insecurity and lack of confidence we all have/have had, and that can be devastating in the solitary world of creative writing. Tiffany has been my helpmate, catalyst, cheerleader, teacher, and colleague that made me want – truly want – to be better at my craft. I have been given an amazing, wonderful opportunity to create under the guidance of a professional who supports me. For the only time in three years, I’ve written without fear of rejection.” - Bill Fehlinger

“Tiffany’s support and guidance are truly invaluable.

I feel genuinely lucky to have her rooting for me professionally; the information and advice that she has given me, and the way that she provides it in such a clear and streamlined manner, makes my goals feel wholly attainable. Through Tiffany’s personal experience with writing, being published, and teaching she has accumulated a vast breadth of knowledge that she shares generously.” - Molly Cimikoski

“I have been trying my hand at publishing for some time now - short stories, novels, poetry - and it’s an uphill climb.

When I first spoke to Tiffany, I couldn’t believe my luck! Here was someone who genuinely was interested in helping me find success. Tiffany is someone who listens to your needs as a writer, reviews your work with honest interest and constructive criticism and makes suggestions to get you started. She takes the journey with you on your road to publication. Tiffany was my divine intervention and I can’t think of anyone else I’d rather have help me.” - Valerie Montgomery

“I worked with Tiffany to review and revise my short stories.

My initial goal was just to take my work from draft sketch to publishable quality. However, as I worked with her, I found her keen eye for detail and her insightful feedback helped me to build my writer’s confidence as well. Tiffany’s services are more than just writer’s feedback – she mentors the entire writing experience. Thank you, Tiffany, for your mentorship. I’m a better writer as a whole thanks to your guidance.” - Aurren Sakoda
